Popular department store Macy’s welcomes the beautiful star of reality TV, Kim Kardashian, to Fashion Show mall as she shares the excitement of her newest perfume Kim Kardashian Gold. This special appearance happens at Macy’s at Fashion Show (3200 Las Vegas Boulevard South) at 5:00 p.m. Customers that purchase the Kim Kardashian Fragrance Package for $130 will meet the celebrity and receive a complimentary photograph with her.
Favorite fashion brand Chinese Laundry opens its newest location at Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood (3663 Las Vegas Boulevard South) this weekend. This three-day grand opening event takes place Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8, with a special series of special performance art acts, a body painter, DJ Richie Getdown and gift bags with purchases over $100 (while supplies last). This is a celebration you won’t want to miss!
Open to the public on now is the first-ever pediped footwear brick and mortar store. This well-known children’s brand of footwear is already a hit in more than 3,000 stores across the U.S. But now the Henderson-based business opens its own store doors, offering the same high-quality, children’s shoes that families have grown to love. The new pediped footwear store is located at 1191 Center Point Drive in Henderson.
Avant Garde Charity Fashion Show
Las Vegas fashion design team Altered Nation Designs and retailer Flockflockflock together are hosting Couture Community Challenge, a fashion show featuring avant garde garments by independent designers and benefiting the Easter Seals of Southern Nevada on Saturday, April 16, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Emergency Arts (520 East Fremont Street). Designers are challenged to use real Easter candies and decorations to make unique garments in celebration of the holiday. Featured designers include: Susan Tosches-Deneau, Jennifer Henry, Jenna Sinatra, Richard Johnson, Kendall Abbott, Tracy Young, Mina Khan, Camille Fayson, and Robin Barcus-Slonina.
A $5 donation per person is recommended, and you must be 21 or over to attend. Twenty-five Las Vegas designers, artists and companies have donated items for a raffle, with tickets costing only $1 apiece. For more information, visit www.couturecommunitychallenge.com.

Popular dress maker Jessica McClintock at Fashion Show (3200 South Las Vegas Boulevard) is accepting gently used dresses for Las Vegas Prom Closet, a local non-profit organization that provides complimentary dresses and accessories for local teens who would otherwise not be able to purchase new clothing for prom.
In exchange for donating a gently used dress, Jessica McClintock, known for elegant formal attire, is offering a 15 percent discount on any new dress purchase. Jessica McClintock is now collecting dresses in the boutique at Fashion Show until March 31. Prom-goers can also enjoy a special prom preview on the runway at Fashion Show the weekend of April 15, which will feature designs by Jessica McClintock.

$20 Concerts at Red Rock Resort
Beginning in February, Red Rock Resort brings back the popular Saturday night concert series Party on the Rocks, every Saturday at 9 pm in the Rocks Lounge. General admission tickets are $20 each, plus applicable fees.
Rocks Lounge is an intimate setting-designed, live entertainment indoor venue with quality sound, a dance floor and VIP booths available for $300. Town Square Launches iPhone App
Town Square is staying in tune with what shoppers want this holiday season and is launching its own interactive application for Apple’s iPhone, iPod and iPad users. The free application is available for download at Apple’s iTunes store or at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/town-square/id404929057?mt=8.
“Town Square is the first shopping center in Las Vegas to develop an application for the iPhone,” said Steve Sorge, CEO for Mobile Fringe, developer of the Town Square iPhone application. “The mobile phone is turning into the preferred way people want to receive new information especially for retail needs.”
The application allows users to check current store sales and promotions, learn about center events, explore the dining and store directory, find convenient parking and plan each visit with the interactive center map.
“Consumers are on the go more than ever and as a result they are changing the way they shop,” said Mary Kathryn Wells, director of marketing for Town Square. “Mobile phones are becoming the go to device for savvy shoppers who are looking for the best deals during the holiday season. The Town Square iPhone App will make access to store promotions via an iPhone convenient and easy.”
